The farm continues to be in agriculture production, and we invite you to visit us! The owners take pride in caring for the land, and enhancing the farm's quality and beauty so that this land will be enjoyed by guests and for generations to come.
The owners purchased the Historic Red Farm in 2018, knowing how incredibly special it was. With the family background in real estate, historic preservation and agriculture, they knew this was a truly unique property.
The property has always been exclusively for private use, and in 2022 it will be opening for the first time for limited events.
In an ever developing environment, preserving a piece of history is the family's goal.
The family invites you to visit them at Historic Red Farm!

about
The historic farmhouse is charming and comfortable with five bedrooms, two bathrooms, an eat in kitchen, a living room, a keeping room, and a large, screened porch that overflows out to a brick patio under the oaks.
Our home includes a complete bridal suite, multiple bathrooms, and endless space for your wedding party to get ready! Wonderfully large windows provide abundant natural light for hair and makeup application and service.
There is a separate suite for your partner as well!
Our space is also perfect for rehearsal dinner the night before, and a morning-after brunch! Our screened porch overlooks the endless oak trees, and a large fire pit perfect for BBQ, oysters or s’mores. The farmhouse has been pleasantly updated and professionally staged to create a warm and inviting feel.
Our signature 400-year old oaks provide a beautiful natural canopy, and can set the backdrop for wedding ceremonies.
Guests have an opportunity to “bury the bourbon” - one of our favorite southern wedding traditions!
We offer our home for your complete wedding weekend! Full Weekend Rental includes a two night stay at historic farmhouse which sleeps up to 12 guests.
