Our 100+ acre farm is the perfect backdrop for your wedding or elopement. Located just Southwest of Atlanta, you will love the privacy of a private farm, but enjoy the convenience of being close to the city.
The historic farmhouse is charming and comfortable with five bedrooms, two bathrooms, an eat in kitchen, a living room, a keeping room, and a large, screened porch that overflows out to a brick patio under the oaks. Behind the home, sits an old barn and a large fire pit perfect for BBQ, oysters, or s'mores.
The farmhouse has been pleasantly updated and professionally staged to create a warm and inviting feel. Wonderfully large windows provide abundant natural light for hair and makeup application and service.
The rental of the farmhouse is included with any full weekend rental and inclusive of a two-night stay for up to 12 guests. A third night is required on any major holiday weekend. A la carte overnight pricing is also available.
Historic Red Farm offers multiple ceremony options for your vows. A popular ceremony site is our gentle sloping lawn overlooking a picturesque lake surrounded by rolling hills. This is but a short walk from the house down a freshly mowed meadow.
Another picturesque setting for a ceremony site is in front of our magnificent Red Oak, thought to be about 400 years old. Its sweeping branches graze thin of its sister, an equally impressive white oak, and together they create a wonderful canopy for cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres.
The farm boasts numerous settings for gatherings of varying numbers. Let your imagination create your vision. The wedding lawn is the perfect place to pitch a tent and celebrate with up to 400 of your friends and family under the stars.
We do require a professional event planner for all onsite events. We can provide you a list of our favorite vendors, who are all seasoned wedding pros, ready to help you create your perfect event.

Absolutely! Rehearsals, rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheons, etc, are all included as long as the event falls within the rental period.
Yes and you will thank us! There are a lot of details coordinating any wedding. A professional full-service wedding coordinator or month-of planner will ensure that all the details of the events will come together as planned, letting you enjoy the entire process as well as your special day.
We have a wonderful list of catering partners on our preferred list. From luxury, coursed and seated dinners to trend setting food trucks, your creative vision can come to life. You can bring beer, wine and alcohol (quite a savings to bring it yourself), but every drink must be served by a licensed bartender. Guests must be shuttled.
Yes! We want you to be surrounded by all your favorite people all weekend. Events held on Friday or Saturday nights require a complete buy-out of the property, from Friday at 3:00pm to Sunday at 11:00am. The farmhouse sleeps up to 12 guests on property for the weekend.

Parking is limited and because we are a working farm, our pastures are to be protected. The use of a shuttle service is required for any event with over 25 guests as we have space for 25 vehicles. Vendors are encouraged to carpool if possible.
You must confirm logistics with your preferred caterer and planner. Your wedding coordinator may prefer to handle set up, but the end of the event can be a joint effort, so it needs to be a conversation. HRF will not be responsible for set-up and clean-up of your event.
Every event is totally unique, and we understand rentals have much to do with the overall aesthetic. You will want to rent a tent, lighting, dance floor, tables, chairs, and linens. We also require each event to rent a portable restroom trailer as the farmhouse restrooms are only for those guests staying overnight. Therefore, most events at HRF start at about $60,000.
Absolutely! Additional nights are based on availability and can be reserved for an additional $7 50. We do require a 3-night stay over all major holiday weekends.
Are you sure?! Incredible convenience and relaxation ensue with a full weekend rental. However, if you wish not to reserve the farmhouse for overnight
accommodations, you can rent Historic Red Farm for the daily rate starting at $2500 for 8 hours. Additional hours may be added at the rate of $125 /hour should you need to begin Beauty service or event set up earlier than 11:00 AM on your event day.
Yes, you can! We allow both bands and DJs, please see our vendor list for recommendations. Out of respect for our neighbors, Historic Red Farm does have a noise ordinance that goes into effect at 11:00 PM.
Yes, absolutely. Firewood is provided and the use of our fire pits, assuming there is no fire ban in effect and weather permits. We will need to know in advance.
